Bangle Bracelet

Noodles, beads, and a clasp on a foot of wire! That's all it takes to make a bling of a bracelet in the Bangle class.

Length: Approx. 2 hours
Cost: $25.00 per student
Supplies: Wire, noodles, focal beads, 4-5mm rounds (or equivalent), clasp
Basic Wiring

A technique only class. Students learn to manipulate wire to make their own headpins and hoop earrings, fashion spirals, turn closed loops and wrapped loops, and link chains.

Cost: $25.00 per student
No student supplies needed.
Beaded Rivoli

A rivoli, captured in a burst of Swarovski and seed beads, is the centerpiece of this fabulous peyote-band ring! The beaded rivoli technique makes an equally fabulous pendant.

Beading Around A Cabochon

From stone, to jewelry, to works of art. This picture is worth a thousand words.

Length: Approx. 3 hours
Cost: $35.00 per student plus supplies.
Supplies: Cabochon (approx. 40x30mm), suede swatch, 15/0 and 11/0 seeds, needle (size 10 or 12), conditioned Nymo, E6000 glue
BYOB
(Bead Your Own Bottle)

Got bottles of beads? Then it's time to Bead Your Own Bottle! This weekly, guided class combines structure with free-form and allows beaders to work at their own pace. Knowledge of stitches (ie: peyote, brick, right-angle, netted, or fringe) is helpful.

Length: Approx. 1 hour a week/ 6 weeks
Cost: $30.00 per student
Supplies: A clean, empty bottle or decanter, 11/0 or 8/0 seeds, focal beads, PowerPro or Fireline, beading needles.
Beginning Jewlery

If you've never beaded before, this is the class for you! Beginning jewelry will teach you the basics of bead stringing on flexible wire, the use of crimps, wire turning, and attaching clasps. The student will complete a necklace and earrings to take with them.

Brick Stitch and Multi Strand Bracelet:

The brick stitched triangle framing each end of this funky bracelet is filled in with strands of bead soup.

Cabernet Bracelet

Weave your magic with a needle and thread to create a beautiful 3/4" cuff bracelet with picot trim.

Cubed Multi-Loop Bracelet

A square stitched, hand sewn base of cubes hides beneath a blanket of beaded loops.

Elizabethan Spiral Rope

An elegant, timeless spiral pairs beautifully with contempoary pendant and findings.

Finger Woven Treasure Bracelet

Check your stash! Beads, charms, and trinkets to treasure using a finger woven technique.

Length: 4.5 hrs (one 3 hr class and one 1.5 hr class)

Flat Spiral Bracelet

Simple, elegant, simply elegant!

Supplies: Swarovski Crystals or Fire Polished Czech (30 of 6mm and 60 of 4mm), 11/0 seeds, beading needle, thread (Nymo, Fireline, or PowerPro), clasp
Free-Form Peyote

A no-pattern project that uses the basic peyote techniques to fashion a bracelet from accent beads and seed beads of varying shapes and sizes. An ideal solution as to what to do with all those leftovers!

Fringe Techniques

In this technique only class you will learn to use needles, bead string, and a variety of seed beads to create ten beautiful fringe designs that can be added to anything.

Honeycomb Spiral

A technique that is surprisingly easy to learn for such a sophisticated design!

Kumihimo Beaded

The ancient Japanese form of braid-making, known as "Kumihimo", is alive and well in the 21st century. Tap into your inner "Samurai" as you learn to blend beads with interlaced strands of fibers.

Kylie's Crystals

A simply elegant bracelet that is fun to make and is certain to make you shine

Mae's Garden

Your very own garden party! A needle and thread project featuring flowers, leaves, and butterflies in Lucite and Czech glass. You bring the iced tea, we'll supply the lady bugs.

Pearl Knotting

In this class you will learn to use tweezers, bead string, and bouillion (French wire) to knot a beautiful pearl necklace. This class is perfect for creating lovely new pieces of jewelry or re-stringing your priceless keepsakes. No beading experience is necessary to enroll in this class.

Peyote Basics

An introduction to the Peyote stitch. This basic staple of a stitch will familiarize you with using needle and threads to weave seed beads into odd-count and even-count peyote.

Peyote 'Bubbles'

A needle-weaving project that uses basic peyote techniques with multiple sizes of seed beads to create a wave of 'bubbles'.

Peyote 3-D

There's absolutely nothing square about these 3-dimensional triangle pendants. It's peyote with an emphasis on increasing, decreasing, and joining edges.

Precious Metal Clay (PMC)
PMC is microscopic silver particles in an organic binder. When heated at high temperatures, the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse leaving a precious metal that is 99.9% pure.

*PMC Charms:
A short intro to PMC, the student will make 3-4 charms and have one firing. No experience is needed for this precious (and charming) metal clay class.

*PMC 1: An introduction with backgroud information on PMC, use of molds and texture plates, bail making, and adding CZ's. This class involves making pendants and includes two firings in the kiln. No experience needed.

*PMC 2: A PMC class that adds rings to your repertoire. Learn to use mandrels for forming and sizing rings to be fired in the kiln. Prerequisite: PMC 1 is helpful.

Russian Spiral

A lovely alternative to tubular peyote, the Russian Spiral is an easy to create hollow tube. Perfect for Bracelets or chokers

Square Hole/Round Peg Bracelet

The only thing "square" about this hip bracelet is the seed bead framework sewn to surround your choice of crystals or pearls. Variations to this bracelet are only limited by your imagination!

Square Wire Bracelet

A wire working class in which the student learns to create a wire framework for beads utilizing square, round, and ½ round wire to form bracelets.

Sticks N Stones

A beaded cuff with a contemporary look, this style brings simplicity to its finest.

Swinging from the Chandeliers

In this "earrings only" class you'll learn closed loop and wrapped loop techniques for creating earrings from an assortment of beads and findings.

TNT Bracelet

A sparkly bracelet featuring Swarovski Bicone Crystals woven together with needle and thread.

Victorian Elegance Necklace

The elegance and romance envisioned in the word "Victorian" is brought to life with twisted bugles and Swarovski crystals.

Viking Knit

Wire instead of yarn, wood dowels instead of knitting needles. How cool is that!

Length: Approx. 3 hours

Supplies: 26 gauge Craft Wire, Bent Nose Pliers, Nylon Flat Nose Pliers (Neoprene pliers), Darning Needle
*Note: Instuctor will provide use of Drawer Plate and Dowels needed for class.
Wiring a Cabachon

With this wire working class, learn to manipulate square and ½ round wire to enclose a Cabochon (a flat stone or object) in a wire frame with bail for use as a pendant. No previous wire experience is necessary.

Wire Ring Class

An intermediate wire class introducing the use of Ring Mandrels. Students will manipulate square and half-round wire to incorporate a stone and/or beads into a ring, sized to fit. Wire experience required.

General Class Information

  • Classes have a maximum occupancy of 6 people
  • Classes are approximately 2-4 hours in length, depending on which class and the skill level and degree of difficulty of the project
  • Each class requires a minimum of 2 people signed up and paid in order for the class to be held. In the event a class is cancelled, the student will be given the choice of a refund, store credit, or rescheduling the class. We do require that you pay in advance for the class, thereby holding your spot; if you do need to cancel – a 48-hour notice is required for a refund or transfer to another class. If notice is not given, your fee may be forfeited.
  • Tools will be provided for classes and are for sale in the store if you wish to purchase them
  • All supplies are available at More than just Beads.
  • Students receive a 10% discount on supplies required for class as well as any additonal purchases made the day of the class.
  • More classes will be added as our teaching staff grows…
  • Students who participate in a class at More Than Just Beads are asked not to teach the same class within two-hundred and fifty (250) miles from ANY More Than Just Bead Store.


  • Bead classes are taught by the staff of More than just Beads, as well as visiting instructors from other areas of the Peninsula.
